GRID ELECTRONICS is SABS ISO9001 (2000 version)
certified and approved.
We are the only company
to date in the world to be awarded the Exclusive Distribution
and
Marketing Rights for the internationally renowned
SANYO Brand of Car Audio.
We operate branches throughout the country namely
Durban, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and from our
Head Office in Johannesburg. We also cover Namibia and
Botswana.
We also have an agent in Namibia. We are proud of
the fact that we are the only car audio
and accessory supplier that has fully operational
branches offering technical back-up,
deliveries and service in these areas.

History |
Grid Electronics (Pty)
Ltd was founded in 1989 by the late Mr. Kingsley Jones.
The company initially concentrated on Original Equipment
products by marketing and
distributing the Mercury Brand of products into
The Hyperama.
The Lloyds and the Hamerstein Branded products were
marketed and distributed into
Dions Stores.
Later Grid Electronics
started supplying electronic products to the retail industry
as well
as the aircraft industry with components and accessories.
